From raw material to shipment, control is ours
Every product goes through a defined production and quality-control process. Our aim is material that is consistent batch to batch and conforms to specification.
Production in five steps
Washing
The raw material is washed; clay, dust and organic impurities are removed.
Classification
Separation by grain size with a hydrosizer; a narrow, consistent gradation.
Grinding
A controlled grinding line for granular and micronised products.
Quality control
Every batch undergoes sieve and chemical analysis; conformance to specification is verified.
Packaging & shipping
Bulk, big-bag or sack; planned, fast delivery.
Every batch is analysed
Grain-size analysis
Grain distribution and AFS fineness are measured by sieve analysis.
Chemical composition
SiO₂ and impurity levels (Fe₂O₃, Al₂O₃) are checked.
Moisture & purity
Moisture and visual purity are verified before every shipment.
Batch report
A real batch analysis report is provided with the shipment.
Analyses performed in our own laboratory
Every batch goes through the following analyses in our own laboratory. Results are provided as a real batch report with the shipment.

Silica (SiO₂) determination
The silicon dioxide content of the sample is determined; the primary indicator of purity.
XRF analysis
Elemental and oxide composition (SiO₂, Fe₂O₃, Al₂O₃, etc.) is measured precisely by X-ray fluorescence.
Mean grain-size determination
The average of the grain distribution is determined; essential for selecting the right gradation.
Uniformity coefficient (UC)
The homogeneity of the grain-size distribution; decisive especially in filtration beds.
Moisture content
The free moisture percentage in the sample is measured.
Clay content
Fine clay and impurity content is determined; affects foundry and filtration performance.
AFS determination
The grain-fineness number (AFS) for foundry sand is calculated.
Acid mass loss
Carbonate and impurity loss is measured by acid solubility; important for filter-media quality.
Sieve analysis
The grain-size distribution (retained %) is obtained using standard sieves.
The instruments we run the analyses on
We measure every batch with the instruments in our own laboratory and share the results as a batch report.

Quality certified by independent institutions
Our quality does not rely on our own measurements alone — our products are verified by certificates and analysis reports from independent institutions.
TS EN 12904 Certificate of Conformity
Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) certificate of conformity for silica sand and gravel used in drinking water treatment.
ISO 9001:2015
Quality management system certificate; defined and audited processes from production to shipment.
TSE Inspection & Test Report
Silica sand analysis report issued by the chemistry laboratory of the TSE Testing and Calibration Centre.
TÜBİTAK MAM Analysis Report
Silica sand analysis conducted at the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Centre under TS EN 12902.
ITU Anthracite Analysis
Anthracite coal analysis conducted at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering.
Copies of certificates and reports are shared on request during the quotation process.
