What is Beach Sand?
Beach sand is a washed, soft and dust-free natural silica sand chosen for surfaces where people are in direct contact with the sand — volleyball courts and sports fields, children's playgrounds, shoreline arrangement and landscaping. Because it is rounded and free of dust and sharp edges, it is comfortable and safe underfoot. We produce it at our facilities in the Thrace region through washing, drying and screening, and supply it with a batch-based analysis certificate.
Beach sand (a silica-based natural sand) is composed mainly of SiO₂ crystals and is graded to a soft, rounded grain in the 0.2–1.0 mm range. Our products have a typical SiO₂ content of 96.3% and an Fe₂O₃ content of 0.18%, which means high chemical stability and low impurity. Multi-stage washing removes dust and fine particles, giving a clean, hygienic sand with near-zero moisture. With a Mohs hardness of 7 and a density of 2.65 g/cm³, it holds its structure well over time. It is supplied in bulk, big-bag or 25 kg bags as required.

Where is it used?
Washed, dust-free and safe natural quartz sand is used for beach volleyball courts and other sports fields, providing a soft, rounded grain that is comfortable underfoot.
For children's playgrounds and sandboxes, washed, rounded, dust-free and hygienic silica sand is offered.
In shoreline arrangement and beach renewal, clean and homogeneous silica beach sand provides a natural, uniform appearance.
In landscaping and decorative applications, its clean, dust-free structure and homogeneous colour make it well suited to garden and design work.
